How do I take an exam through ProctorU?

ProctorU is a live proctoring service that will monitor you through your webcam while you take your exam.

You will need Chrome or Firefox as your browser when using ProctorU.
Create an account with ProctorU
Test your equipment to make sure ProctorU will work
Once you create an account and test your equipment:
- Click Take an Exam or choose My Sessions from the menu and then choose Schedule New Session
- Choose your institution (Thompson Rivers University), select a term, select your exam
- Click Find Sessions and then you will be able to select the day and time that you want to take your final exam.
There is a USD fee for ProctorU to proctor your exam, students are responsible for paying this fee.
Schedule your exam as soon as possible (we recommend that you schedule it at least 72 hours in advance).
You are not required to fill out the ProctorU Consent Form. It has been discontinued.
On the day of your scheduled exam, you will need to log in to your ProctorU account and Moodle account a few minutes before the exam. The exam proctor with ProctorU will go through a checklist and get you set up for the exam, then they will provide you with a password so you can start your exam in Moodle.
