Do I have to submit my co-op work permit?

Students planning for a work term or internship will be asked in the Co-op/Internship prep course to provide a copy of either their work permit or a copy of their application confirmation that shows they have applied for the work permit.  This process avoids confusion with potential employers.

Please note that the work permit is a different document than the study permit and is required for any work term/internship experience that is being done for academic credit.

If you have any questions related to your co-op/internship, you can always reach out to your Co-op Advisor/Practicum Coordinator. To find out who you your Co-op Advisor/Practicum Coordinator is, please reach out to askanadvisor@sheridancollege.ca OR visit one of the Service Hubs on campus.
