Student Advisement helps you get started at Sheridan and stay on track with your educational plan and goals. It’s your first point of contact whenever you need advice, answers, and support.
You can seek advice/Student Advisement when:
- You have questions or concerns
- Need support but are not sure where to start
- Are struggling with your classes or at risk of failing your class
- Feel that you are not fitting in or making connections
- Need to navigate a college policy or process
- Are on probation and would like to get back on track
- Are considering dropping out or have been suspended
For more complex concerns, our dedicated Student Advisors offer personalized one-on-one meetings to guide you through college policies, processes, and available options. Whether you need to review Sheridan’s grading system and academic standing, discuss financial or academic concerns, or connect with additional supports, Student Advisors help you develop a clear plan to stay on track with your academic goals.
To book an appointment, visit our Student Advisement Central page. If your program has a dedicated Embedded Student Advisor, go to Step 1 to find your program. You can view your Advisor’s availability and book an appointment directly through your program’s Virtual Community.
If your program does not have a dedicated Embedded Student Advisor, proceed to Step 2. You can book a virtual appointment with a Student Advisor. You can also book in-person appointments at Davis, HMC, or Trafalgar.
