Offers of Admission

Admission to many Sheridan programs is limited. As a result, not all qualified applicants can be admitted. A waiting list of eligible applicants is maintained for each program. Applicants are selected from that list until the program is full or up to the fifth day of class, whichever comes first.

Types of offers

Firm offers of admission

If your admission status is firm, you must accept your offer of admission by the deadline noted at ontariocolleges.ca. A firm offer means that all conditions have been met.

Conditional offers of admission

If your admission status is conditional, you must accept your offer of admission by the deadline noted at ontariocolleges.ca. Your conditions are viewable in myStudent Centre. All conditions must be met by the date noted on the offer.

In the case of Conditional Offers of Admission, Sheridan reserves the right to withdraw its offer of admission if the applicant does not meet the outstanding requirement prior to the start of the program.

Alternate offers of admission

Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements for a specific program will be assessed and advised individually and may be considered for other, related programs.
