- Inappropriate use of digital technology

Visit the Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure for more information.
If you have received an academic integrity breach, you have two options available to you:
- Accept the breach and sanction and follow through with any conditions of your sanction (e.g., academic integrity remediation). Failure to comply with the conditions outlined in your sanction can result in a higher sanction.
- Appeal the breach and sanction. First, review the Academic Appeals and Consideration Policy and Procedure. Please note that you have five business days to appeal the sanction from the time that you received the breach. You can then complete the Level 1 Academic Appeal Form and submit to academicappeals@sheridancollege.ca. If you have any questions or need guidance, you can also connect with Student Advisement. To get connected with a Student Advisor, please email askanadvisor@sheridancollege.ca OR book an appointment. If you would like to know more about academic integrity, you can visit our Academic Integrity page on Sheridan Central.
