For Pre-Tourism, after further conversations with faculty and looking at past data, we are not inclined to open any application for this on EPBC. Data shows us that we have 2 applicants who applied per intake who didn’t meet admission requirements over the past 3 years. What we will do is update language on our sites and EPBC saying that if someone wishes to consider BTM but doesn’t meet the requirements, exactly as you’ve outlined below - still to apply to the BTM, that way they are assessed and know what they need so that when they finish meeting their quals during the Pre-Tourism stage, we can pop them right into the BTM without any new assessment / document submission needed.

Those that don't BT requirements, still apply to BTM and they will be put into pre-tourism.

General academic advising will work with pre-tourism students.
