Those with an ECE Diploma can ladder to HUMS (Human Service Diploma) and only have to do the second year of the program. This means they can do either the on-campus or the OL Human Service Diploma. ECE must be combined with HUMS (year 2) for eligibility of entry into the BSW. The ECE by itself is not sufficient for entry into the BSW. They should check with Social Work for their specific program especially if the ECE was not done at TRU.
