Decision Code Flowchart as of January 2023:
| Decision Code | Description | Usage |
| AA | Applicant Acceptance | when student has met admission requirements, has paid tuition deposit and can be admitted to a program |
| AD | Applicant Declined | When a SO is sent out and the student declines their seat offer |
| AW | Applicant Withdrawal | When student withdraws before a decision is made on the application, used a l lot when a student applied to campus and wanted OL |
| CA | Conditional Admit | when student has met admission requirements, has paid tuition deposit and can be admitted to a program, but needs to provide Final transcript or proof of awarded degree |
| CD | Committee Declined | file sent to committee for review, and they have decided not to offer the student a seat in their program - usually for limited seat programs. Committee/department decision. |
| DE | Deferred | When student defers to future semester- new SAAADMS record for future term added |
| DI | Intl Committee Declined | Not used by domestic admissions- I imigine it to be similar to CD |
| EC | Early Conditional Admit (Gr 12) | Not used |
| ED | Early Decision (Gr 11) | Not used |
| IA | Institutional Acceptance | when student has met admission requirements and can be admitted to a program. IA = admitted. Student then needs to pay tuition deposit to register in courses. |
| IC | Met Conditions | used after CA when the applicant has met all the admissions requirements and/or additional program requirements noted in the checklist |
| ID | Not Qualified | student has not met admission requirements for the program they have applied to - ie Grade 12 English final grade is not high enough to meet admission req. ARO's decision. |
| IS | Inactive Application | when student applies and does not complete file for term applied to (clean up after term started) |
| PD | Pending Decision | used for students who have completed the application process and their file has been sent to the department for a decision |
| QK | Quick Entry | Not used |
| SO | Seat Offered | student has met admssion requirements and we have issued a seat offer letter - student emails admissions to let us know they accept |
| SR | Seat Offered | student has met admssion requirements and we have issued a seat offer letter - student can accept on their own in myTRU |
| WA | Applicant Web Accepted | only used by student in myTRU |
| WD | Applicant Web Withdraw/Decline | only used by student in myTRU |
