Bachelor of Business in Real Estate Degree

This degree is an unusual one in that the courses in the degree have to be taken through two different institutions: UBC and TRU. All of the real estate courses have to be done through the UBC Sauder School of Business - Real Estate Division and they are online courses. The business requirements and the general education requirements are taken through TRU-Open Learning as online courses but they could also be done at the TRU campus as I think there are campus equivalents for all the business and general education requirements in the degree.

The other odd thing about this degree is that you have to be admitted to both institutions. You first have to be admitted to the UBC Diploma in Urban Land Economics, and once you have done that, you can apply for admission to the TRU Bachelor of Business in Real Estate degree. I am sending you a link to the description of the Diploma in Urban Land Economics below and it contains some information about applying for admission to it. If you have any questions about applying for admission to the DULE, you can contact Yvonne Chuen who is the Admissions Officer for the UBC Real Estate Division. Her email address is yvonne.chuen@sauder.ubc.ca.

Once you have been admitted to the DULE, you would apply to admission to the TRU Bachelor of Business in Real Estate degree. Once you are admitted to the BBRE, we will do a program plan for you and email it to you along with a Welcome Letter. At that point, you will be able to register in TRU campus courses or TRU online courses through TRU-Open Learning. Please get back to me if you have any questions. Cheers.
