International Transfers 

International Transfers is offered in partnership with AFL International Transfers. It is fully integrated into Online Banking and is both secure and convenient.

Steps to Activating and Sending an International Transfer 


1. You will need to log into Online Banking and activate their account with AFL International Transfers:

You will receive a confirmation email that their account was created.

2. You will need to complete the following information:


* Note: At this point, members will need to upload a photo of their ID (Driver’s License / Passport)

3. You will need to add a recipient:


* Note: It’s very important that you input the correct Bank and Account information for the recipient.

4. Sending a Transfer

You can send in either CAD or the destination currency. * Note: If sending in the destination currency, the fee will be charged in that currency.


You will choose the Recipient and which of their Motor City accounts to draw funds from.

- Select “Get Quote”


You will have 15 seconds to execute the transaction. Should the time expire, you will need to

- Select “Get Quote” again.


Once you execute the transaction, the transaction will be booked with AFL and you will get a confirmation email.


You can then click “Return to Online Banking” to head back to OLB.

5. Once the International Transfer account is set up, You can send International Transfers at any time. When you click the link, you will be shown a disclaimer before you continue.
